Country Land Group is looking for a hardworking and disciplined Acquisitions Manager to follow up on leads, prepare/close deals, and ensure each transaction is smooth and successful under the supervision of the Sales Director. This position is instrumental in the growth and success of the business and the successful candidate will be persuasive, confident, and detail-oriented. This is a full-time position located in Floyd Virginia.

Responsibilities
  • Promptly attend regularly scheduled meetings weekly and as needed.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction at all times through ongoing communication resolving any issues promptly that may arise pre/post-sale.
  • Negotiate purchase agreements, lease agreements, and other necessary legal documents.
  • Cross-train on essential duties that need to be covered when out of the office.
  • Monitor real estate listings, databases, and other sources to identify and source potential acquisitions.
  • Coordinate property inspections, valuation assessments, and environmental studies, and make recommendations for site selections.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Conduct negotiations with sellers, brokers, and other parties involved to secure favorable acquisition terms and pricing.
  • Stay informed about market conditions, regulations, and competitor activities that may impact acquisitions.
  • Generate all documents required for the sale of properties ensuring that all documents are signed and uploaded to Podio.
  • Enter, maintain, track, and follow up with all leads in Podio.
  • Perform initial call/outreach to leads answering questions and providing available data/documents. Respond to any calls, emails, or texts within 24 hours.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the acquisition process, including but not limited to property inspections, appraisals, financing, and closing documentation.
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to function in a high-paced environment and able to multitask under pressure. Must be able to meet deadlines.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas effectively and clearly - proper English grammar, punctuation, and spelling are required.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a formal or informal team to accomplish goals.
  • Ability to assume responsibility, display initiative, exercise good judgment, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Must be committed to accuracy and hold high-quality standards for job completion.
  • Must be dependable and punctual.
  • 2 - 5 years of sales experience required.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and respond to management's directions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Podio, and other land sales websites and databases.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to build and maintain long-term relationships.
Compensation
  • $48,000 to $200,000
