Salary: $55,000 per year

Here is what working as an Accounting Specialist at Proscapes will entail:

• Using your strict attention to detail to administer and maintain payroll, payroll taxes, benefit deductions, insurance, and PTO
• Adding to your skillset with some minor human resources responsibilities
• Demonstrating your people skills by answering the phones during peak periods
• Ensuring synchronization between Landscape Management Software, QuickBooks, and ADP
• Enjoying the achievement of reconciling vendor statements, including charges for labor, materials, and rental equipment, and reconciling bank statements, equipment loans, and lines of credit
• Taking pride in preparing annual budgets and monthly financial reports
• Working directly with the office and design and build teams to provide project accounting and complete administrative tasks, including accounts payable, customer billings, accounts receivable, basic general ledger accounting, cost accounting, and payroll processing
• Keeping our employees happy by submitting biweekly payroll
• Feeling the annual relief of properly preparing year-end financials for the tax accountant

We ask that you have these qualifications:

• 1 year of construction industry business-related accounting experience (preferred)
• 3 years of QuickBooks experience (preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, CRM, and estimating and payroll software
• Basic knowledge of construction project accounting principles and processes for accounts payable, customer billings, and payroll timesheets
• Accounting degree (preferred) or equivalent construction accounting experience
• Experience with complex financial systems
• 3 years of accounting experience (preferred)
