ACCOUNT MANAGER - CLIENT PARTNERSHIPS


The Account Manager on our Client Partnerships team is a trusted resource to Nordic clients and is responsible for providing excellent customer service through the course of day-to-day support and coordination of sales activities. This position is a critical part of the Client Partnerships team and serves as the central point of contact for clients, managing business opportunities, solving problems in the spirit of Nordic’s maxims, and providing operational support.


Key Responsibilities


The Account Manager will have the following key responsibilities which include, but are not limited to:


  • Assisting with and attending Nordic special events and conferences at Corporate office or other locations
  • Scheduling interviews for Nordic consultants, clients and consultant on-site leads
  • Collaborating with internal team members to continually enhance operational processes to improve business operations, client experience, and operational efficiency
  • Anticipating client needs and responding attentively to inbound client requests
  • Preparing and managing engagement-related contracts and documents
  • Coordinating with internal partners to facilitate consultant onboarding to Nordic’s clients’ sites
  • Supporting the full sales life cycle including tracking and responding to client opportunities, confirming contract details and extensions, assisting with proposal development, preparing for client meetings and onsite visits, and capturing client feedback
  • Providing excellent customer service through creative problem solving in addition to timely and professional communication
  • Developing and complying with internal processes to maintain relevant customer details such as: business opportunities, client contacts, and communications
  • Creating and maintaining exceptional relationships with key client stakeholders and internal partners
  • Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary


Skills And Experience


  • Experience utilizing a strong customer service attitude and skill set
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales operations related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Demonstrated success in customer service or account management
  • Able to work well under pressure and within time constraints
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal


Additional Details


  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Position open to remote or located in the Greater Madison, WI area
