Compensation: $77,126 - $96,408 annually

The compensation range reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program.


Position Summary:
The Account Development Specialist is essential to Reyes Beverage Group’s (RBG) Spirits portfolio success through partnering with suppliers and customers to execute commercial priorities and plans. The specialist is the key contact for spirits suppliers in a designated market and stewards success metrics and coordinates activities with RBG company leadership. Additionally, the specialist is responsible for the development of the spirits portfolio in a select group of accounts with focus primarily towards key on-premise, off premise specialty shops, and select high-end product customers. This position with work closely with the suppliers & account representatives to develop a plan of action to maximize the success of the spirits portfolio.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Promote product sales in account through staff training events.
  • Sell in distribution, menu placements, promotions, drink features, and back bar placements at key customers.
  • Increase net core brand distribution over baseline throughout the year in assigned geography.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining target account lists.
  • Function as a spirits expert in education and training for assigned market.
  • Maintain a high level of industry knowledge in spirits, food journals, trends, market share, etc.
  • Achieve minimum visibility in assigned accounts equal to or greater than competition.
  • Accomplish sales and distribution goals by executing the monthly, quarterly and annual business plans and company initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with buyers at key customers.
  • Work with account representatives to ensure priorities, plans, and customer needs are communicated.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.
  • Create spirits programs for execution in accounts/market.
  • Interact with supplier leadership to prioritize and troubleshoot market activities.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills either one on one or in a group setting.
  • Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft office experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current automobile insurance with at least the minimum state required coverage levels.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, management and co workers.
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3-4+ years of spirits industry experience, plus 1+ years of supervisory exp; or High School diploma, plus 6+ years of related experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
