Position Summary and Responsibilites:

In this newly created role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a complete set of records to show financial transactions of the company for presentation to Executive team in a timely manner. Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the following:

·Managing of accounts payable process including accurate entry of invoices and vendor and supplier maintenance.

·Examine and verify data, maintain bank accounts and daily transactions.

·Prepare financial statements for regular audit.

·Recording and submitting Customer Invoices in a timely manner.

·Processing internal transactions and expenses, along with producing reports to verify the accuracy of the numbers.

·Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to company procedures.

·Prepare payroll using timesheets and job costing information at a detailed level is required.

·Certified payroll and reporting.

·Calculate all payroll deductions.

·Prepare Sales/Use Tax Returns as required.

·Generate all W-2’s and 1099’s at year-end.

·File all payroll tax returns dependent upon reporting requirements.

·Maintain general ledger and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

·Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement.

·Create weekly Job Costing reports of ongoing projects and a final cost summary analysis of each project when it is complete.

Special Skills and Qualifications:

·Competency with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Pro, MS Office Excel & Word, and other accounting tools.

·Thorough understanding of basic accounting principles.

·Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience.

·Knowledge of regulatory requirements for payroll processing and payroll tax returns.

·Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.

·Great organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

·Good listening and communication skills.

General Experience and Education Requirements:

·Bachelor degree in Accounting

·Minimum of 5 years of experience

·Proficient in Microsoft Office
