Position Summary/Objective: Individuals in this position will be responsible for overseeing group of 10+ players on-court and providing basketball instruction, encouragement, and energy.

Education: Pursuit of bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: None required.
Supervisory Responsibility, if any: This position does not have supervisory responsibility
COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination and booster will be required prior to your start date.
Work Environment
Work is active and energetic in nature. The position operates out of a sports facility. The working environment is favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by dust, etc. The noise level is loud during events. During events work is generally performed on court, around the gym and bleachers/steps, as well as in the open hallways and entrance of school/community centers.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others in person. The employee frequently is required be on feet and lead basketball instruction. The employee rarely remains in stationary position and is frequently required to perform athletic movements. Staff may assist with set-up/break-down at camp/clinic weighing up to 20 pounds.
Travel: Position will not require travel in and out of the metro area.

- Provides supervision on and off the court.
- Work closely with camp/clinic Director to set up and break down clinic.
- Assist with demonstrations of Academy concepts and values
- Work closely with Academy Site Director to ensure quality control.
- Solve facility/player issues with creative problem solving.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other
- Knowledge and experience working with children.
- Ability to engage well with others.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to respond to any situation quickly and professionally.
- Ability to work well on a team and independently.
