Job Description
: The Academic Coordinator provides support to programs in the School of Education. The position performs a diverse set of responsibilities to facilitate recruitment and support retention activities for the academic success of our students. The academic coordinator supports the program management of select programs and School of Education programming. The position will engage in a variety of activities and processes to connect School of Education students and meet program goals. Reports to Administrative Manager in the School of Education.

Responsibilities


  • Supports the academic standing review process for UG and GRAD each semester.
  • Promotes the successful retention of students in ABA and ECE Working professionals program.
  • Supports the data needs of the school.
  • Supports events and programming for School of Education.
  • Engages and supports the successful recruitment for ABA and ECE Working professionals program.
  • Facilitates onboarding and graduate orientations for SOE programs.
  • Supports program directors of ABA and ECE Working professionals programs.
  • Supports the retention process of newly admitted SOE graduate students in all programs
  • Monitors and tracks SOE students' progress toward degree/program completion and status update processes.
  • Facilitates ABA program verifications and assists with peer advising in ABA program
  • Supports the maintenance of web content for the school.


Qualifications


  • Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM systems is a plus
  • Able to organize and plan effectively
  • Strong computer skills, including use of Google and MS Office products
  • Experience in the advising of undergraduate and graduate students and transcript analysis at the Post-Baccalaureate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Understand program curricular requirements for School of Education degree, certificate and certification programs
