Lower Paxton Township Sewer Department is accepting applications for (3) full-time position of Maintenance Mechanic I. This is an entry level position in the Sewer Department that performs skilled manual work in construction and maintenance of the sanitary sewer system. An employee in this position conducts visual inspections of sanitary sewer lines; engages in sanitary sewer inspection functions that include physical checks of manholes, pump stations, meters, and related sewer system facilities; assists in the repair and maintenance of sanitary sewer equipment. The employee is responsible to cut grass or remove snow at pump stations and other facilities.
