  • Research summary (up to 1,000 words)
To be considered for the GOLD program, applicants must:
  • Obtain Ph.D. by Fall 2024, or no more than 3 years post-graduation (those not graduating by Fall 2024 will only be considered for mentoring)
  • Have proficiency in data analysis & basic statistics skills (%error, standard deviation, etc.)
  • Be pursuing a Ph.D. in chemistry, material science, physics, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, polymer engineering, ceramics engineering, materials engineering, data science, electrical engineering, or closely related fields
  • Have a bachelor’s Degree in science (i.e., chemistry, material science, physics) or in engineering (i.e. mechanical, chemical, petroleum, polymer, ceramics, materials, data science, electrical)
  • Have the ability to follow standard operating procedures and work safely
  • Possess excellent communication skills and effective teamwork skills
  • Possess proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc., and the ability to learn new systems quickly is required
  • Have strong organizational skills
  • Be independent, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking
  • Have experience in one of these fields: organic synthesis (small molecule or polymer), analytical chemistry, polymer science, computational chemistry, inorganic chemistry, colloidal science and interfacial phenomena, materials science, electrochemistry, catalysis, polymer engineering, materials mechanical testing, rheology, computational material science, material properties modeling, or material scale-up and processing, polymer processing, semiconductor processing, process engineering, mmw and RF antenna design and characterization, metrology, metallurgy, electron microscopy, condensed and soft matter physics, semiconductor device, and physics, high-speed high frequency, nano and microfabrication, thermal modeling, Computational fluid dynamics, ceramic synthesis, formulation, machine learning for materials or other relevant material development fields

The Pay range for this role is $91,560.00 - $143,880.00 Annual
How Base Pay is Determined: DuPont has job leveling frameworks that help organize roles based on progressive levels of responsibility, proficiency and qualifications. Each role has an associated pay range (or an established pay rate for some roles) based on the competitive market in each country where we operate. Each individual’s pay is based on a variety of factors, including their role and the associated pay range for that role, their geographic location (i.e., country, state, metropolitan area), as well as their skills, experience, education and certifications, and performance.
