2023 - Continuing Education - Nurse Aide Instructor

The Bryant & Stratton College Continuing Education Division is seeking a Nurse Aide Instructor at the Richmond Campus. The instructor will teach in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified candidates must pass a background check and drug screen and be fully vaccinated.
• All healthcare requirements must be uploaded in CastleBranch before hire.
• A qualified candidate is a registered nurse with two years experience, one year of direct client care supervisory experience in providing geriatric long-term care services, and an unencumbered license. Other experiences may include employment in a nurse aide education program or employment in or supervision of nursing students in a nursing facility or unit, geriatrics department, chronic care hospital, home care, or other long-term care setting.
• The Nurse Aide program is a weekend program, and the candidate must work weekends.
• Train the trainer certificate required for the Nurse Aide course. Bryant & Stratton College can provide the training for the certificate, if needed.
• The didactic/lab portion of the nurse aide program will be taught 12-hours on Saturday and 12 hours on Sundays for four and a half weeks. The clinical portion includes four 11-hour clinical days. The final day of the course is a 12-hour day that includes didactic and skill learning and a final exam.
• Experience in a health care discipline providing care or service directly to patients.

• Teaching experience.
