Job Description
SUMMARY Orders spare parts, receives, stores materials, and supports with discontinued parts and finding replacement parts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Oracle, Stock requisitions, Machine inspection for spare parts, spare part audits, attend new product launch meetings (core team meetings) and support receiving and stock cage. Maintains records of spare parts ordered and audits. Supports maintenance group with daily spare part follow (hot items) Prepares spare parts list for inventory. Supports with Gm EOP spare parts Orders, receives, unpacks, and stores incoming stock and repaired parts. Creates new stock requisitions for needed spart parts. Inspect equipment for needed spare part questions from vendor Microsoft Office and Oracle stock management. Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A. S.) or equivalent from two or four year college or technical school, or two (2) to four (4) years related experience and high school diploma of G.E.D., or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other members of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the member is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The member is occasionally required to stand; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the member is frequently exposed to extreme heat. The member is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. *To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
