Job Description

The 171st Air Refueling Wing is based at the Pittsburgh International Airport in Coraopolis, Pa.It provides aerial refueling capability to U.S. and Allied forces worldwide using the KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft.


Mission: To enable global reach through superior air refueling expertise; to provide the best mission support in domestic and international operations in the United States Air Force.


Vision: To be the premier flying wing in the United States Air Force- a unified team of Airmen who empower excellence, embrace innovation and embody the Air Force Core Values in everything we do.


Responsibilities

One weekend each month and 14 additional training days throughout the year as a Drill Status Guardsman (DSG).
