About the Job Riders must be 18+ Job Summary Contract Driver (1099, Solo) Dry Van Local $1,500 gross total weekly avg. pay 1,000 - 1,500 avg. miles per week Day shift No Driver Load/Unload Home Time 5 days on, 2 days off Home every weekend Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports. Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules. Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure. Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations. Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations. Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
