100% Remote Power BI Analyst Needed for Leading Healthcare Client

We are looking for a highly motivated Power BI Analyst to join a leading managed care organization of ours on the East Coast. This Power BI Analyst will join our client as their Medical Economics department continues to grow and they work cross functionally across their departments. This is a 100% remote Direct Hire opportunity for a Power BI Data Analyst with deep technical understanding in health plan data and SQL coding. The ideal Power BI Analyst will have a deep appreciation for the mission behind a managed care organization.

Responsibilities for this Power BI Analyst

• Report building with Pharmacy Healthcare data
• Deliver actionable insights on optimal patient care
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understand key metrics derived from NCQA data
• Analyze various health care information sources to measure and deliver reports that respond to critical business needs.
• Work in close collaboration with the Medical Economics team.
• Design, develop and conduct reports on health care claims data and pharmacy data.

Requirements for this Power BI Analyst

• Experience building data models, data mining and using data to drive business outcomes
• Experience working with Demographic data, Quality Health Plan data , PCP attribution data, Medical Claims data and Eligibility Claims data.
• Minimum 4 years experience working with Healthcare and Health Plan data.
• EHR experience, preferably with eClinical Works
• Ability to code 5,000 - 10,000 lines of SQL
• SSIS and SSRS experience
• Vaccinated against COVID-19
• Understands the HEDIS standards of measurement
• Minimum 4 years experience writing SQL Queries
• Has worked on data exposing projects, and ability to critically think and assess.
• Report Building Experience - with Power BI (minimum 4 years)
