- Conducting audits of financial institutions, banks, and credit unions to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Developing and implementing audit plans and procedures to identify potential risks and areas of improvement.
- Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Communicating audit findings to senior management and making recommendations for improvements.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and external auditors.
- Providing guidance and support to audit team members to ensure the quality and accuracy of audit reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in auditing financial institutions, banks, or credit unions.
- CPA or CIA certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and practices.
- Experience in developing and implementing audit plans and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
