Manage the California Calls Strategic Communications team, which includes the Communications Coordinator and various consultants.

Is able to simultaneously manage multiple projects while maintaining a firm grasp of individual project details and meet deadlines.

Develop and manage the Team One master calendar supporting sales, marketing and internal stakeholders (cross-functional support functions) for the four franchises.

Minimum of five years sales / marketing / other in-house experience required

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Integrate marketing, sales, and IBT strategies to enhance overall communication and execution.

Enhance two-way dialogue with employees through the creation of new channels that enhance employee connection and engagement.

Manage day-to-day operations for GFN’s communications team.

Deep understanding and experience working across communication channels, including design, digital, traditional media and more.

Superior writing and editing skills.

Experience managing staff and fostering a collaborative team work culture.

Understand methodologies and identity to enhance program management approach.

Hold Bachelors degree, ideally in area of Communications or Journalism

Represent the company in client interactions within assigned project portfolio.

Advise and develop strategic communication-focused client products and corporate communication projects.

3-5+ years in Project Management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Establishing adherent to a comprehensive project schedule.

Strategic engagement with Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) and vulnerable communities to incorporate voices heard into project deliverables;

Strategic engagement with stakeholder groups, key influencers, and community leaders

Coordination with the STP engagement team to align platforms and project objectives.

Experience with change management. Understanding of Prosci/ADKAR a plus

Well-organized, efficient, and highly productive; excellent project management skills; ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Excellent writing, editing and strategic planning skills

Experience counseling executives on communication issues

7+ years of experience in internal communications in a fast-moving corporate environment

Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams a plus

Lead the MLS Monitoring and Response Management group who monitor legacy media coverage and social media content.

Manage Communications relationship with pertinent media/social trade associations.

Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications opportunities, including select crisis situations.

Superior communications capabilities with an excellent command of spoken and written English and a keen aesthetic sense

Extensive understanding and experience of technical aspects of contemporary communications

Strong leadership skills and the ability to make informed decisions

Prior management responsibilities for an organization's publicity program and staff

Strong editing skills, with a comprehensive knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and especially AP style

Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a marketing-related field, OR equivalent related experience

7+ years of experience in public relations, preferably in a related industry such as travel, hospitality, or tourism

Previous experience in government-focused public relations or government affairs

Strong writing skills for a variety of communication vehicles that includes press materials, creative collateral, digital channels, and more

Competitive base salary ranging from $60,000-$70,000 base and higher based on your experience + uncapped commission + overachievement bonuses
