Complete final certification for all outbound loads

2nd Shift (12PM - 8PM) Monday to Friday

Overtime may be required, including weekends, to cover other shifts as the needs arise.

Complete VCR for jockey truck and forklift (if applicable)

Move trailers from lot to dock doors and back to lot as directed

Work with foreman and supervisor to move raw material loads to doors as needed

1 - 3 years’ relevant experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other business areas.

Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, to move or transport loaded/unloaded trailers.

Inspect load for safety and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.

Position lifting devices under trailer for transport to designated areas.

**Endure working in a cold environment and experience temperature changes

Qualifications Required of this Position:

Must have a CDL A

6AM Start, Working Tuesday - Saturday

Taking equipment to Penske, Carriers and sometimes running recoveries

Must have the ability to move unloaded trailers around the yard

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Ability to complete trailer moves in the Yard Management System (YMS)

Open and close rental agreements in computer and file related paperwork, as needed.

Inquire about equipment damages when customer returns equipment.

Perform weekly yard check for rental and resale inventory and reconcile information.

Answer incoming calls as needed.

Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)

Pay up to $22 an hour depending on experience

Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

1+ years Foodservice distribution industry experience

Onboard computer and electronic log system experience (i.e., PeopleNet)

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Coordinate with warehouse team to manage the trailer pool effectively in accordance with dock schedule

Maintain forklift certification to assist with warehouse functions when necessary / load outbound trucks in-between yard move

High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency

Minimum 1 year related experience and/or training

Moves trailers at customer facility

Shuttles tankers, hoppers, and containers

High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 year of experience

Perform pre-trip inspection and inspect trucks thoroughly

Move all trucks in and around the premises

Assist in picking products for production from various warehouse locations

Track all containers coming onto and leaving the premises

Perform acceptance of inbound loads (per company standards)

Perform all Plant Associate job duties as assigned

Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.

Minimum of 1-year tractor/trailer experience (3 axle tractor, 53' trailer)

Valid driver’s license with Class A CDL. Clean driving record and insurable
