5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, supplier management and project implementation.

BS/BA degree required, ideally in engineering, supply chain management or business.

Six Sigma certification preferred, with strong knowledge of Lean, DMAIC, workout and other change mechanisms.

Leadership experience and/or technical acumen within supply chain (ie: manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, materials, quality, procurement, fulfillment or related functional area).

Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and leadership influencing skills.

Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred

This position is located in Syracuse, NY.

Operates and maintains various machines for basic tasks, punch presses, grinders, drill presses, sheers, etc.

Performs mechanical operations using various hand tools

Manage and oversee production staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards and manufacturing protocols

May use engineering drawings to wind, assemble, and fabricate product ensuring the highest quality product to meet customer requirements and delivery.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing experience and responsibilities, 1 of which must be in a supervisory capacity.

PSM (process safety) experience strongly preferred.

Experience in cGMP manufacturing a plus.

Participate with activities directly related to ISO certification, and on-going conformance.

Familiarity with Chemical and/or Aseptic production processes and applications within similar industry.

Experience operating packaging equipment such as robotics, filling machines, case packers, labelers, etc.

Experience watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly

Experience monitoring the quality of raw materials or finished goods

Unload dry and liquid materials and load trucks with finished goods

Use floor computers for reporting unsafe conditions, calling up order numbers, etc.
