Job Description
Position Overview


This utility position is responsible to safely perform job functions at the highest level of quality, in the processing of media, mesh and elements. It is also responsible for providing accurate paperwork and record keeping. Must have the ability to use measuring and test equipment as required, follow all company rules and policies as well as OSHA/EPA regulations.


Duties And Responsibilities


  • Maintain clean, neat and safe work area.
  • Maintain high quality and production standards and keep records accurately.
  • Must follow all safety procedures and wear required P.P.E. at all times.
  • Produce and measure product to insure compliance to blueprint and work instruction specifications.
  • Setup and operate necessary equipment in related area.
  • Complete all paperwork required.
  • Operate and maintain equipment in the production of media-made elements.
  • Assist lower classification personnel and be willing to cross train as needed.
  • Setup and operate all equipment to produce product to specification requirements.
  • Produce complicated components needed, subassemblies and final assemblies in related area to blueprint and work instructions.
  • Work under the direction of supervisors, or more experienced personnel, with little supervision.


Qualifications


  • Maintain an acceptable level of attendance
  • 6 months experience in manufacturing and assembly required
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
  • Ability to understand, follow and effectively communicate verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to make decisions and have sound judgment
  • Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push and pull for long periods of time
  • Good mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability
  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills required
