Experience with still photography in Manual mode

Experience in photo and video editing software; Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, Davinci Resolve, etc.

Select appropriate imaging devices for use in various test environments

Setup and deploy high-speed and other cameras, lighting and lenses for test setups

Help maintain all imaging equipment, ensuring good working order and calibration as required

Terminal operations, trade electrician, degrees or experience in the field of electrical, electronic, IT Infrastructure or PLC programming preferred.

Intermediate knowledge with Windows based PCs and smart phone technology is required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Thorough knowledge of electronics theory and of the methods and practices of electronic equipment repair

Thorough knowledge of the functioning and maintenance of process control instrumentation and electronic equipment

3+ years electronics and instrumentation experience related to process control equipment

Ensures that electronic and pneumatic instrumentation used in various Commission facilities functions properly

Uses industrial test equipment such as digital multi-meters, to monitor and calibrate instrumentation systems

At least three years’ experience in electronic sensory and control systems as utilized in water utilities, with the equipment described above.

CWEA Controls Systems Technician II level or equivalent certification.

When conducting university business, must comply with the California Vehicle Code and Stanford University driving requirements.

Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates the ability to work well with Stanford colleagues and clients and with external organizations.

Valid California noncommercial Class C Driver License.

Have and maintain California DWR (Department of Water Resources) certificate D3 Water Distribution Operator certificate.

Journeylevel Electrician with minimum 5 years of electrician work experience (industrial setting preferred) OR

Journeylevel Instrumentation Technician with minimum 5 years of instrumentation work experience (industrial setting preferred)

Secondary skill set in electrical or instrumentation preferred

Able to demonstrate basic computer skills, math and problem-solving; mechanical, numerical and verbal aptitude to learn our jobs quickly

Pass a physical, drug screen and background check if job offer is received and accepted

Manage daily maintenance workflow activities utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Possesses a basic understanding and application of instrumentation math, and units of measurement.

Maintains and troubleshoots various types of solenoid valves, switches, meters, indicators, and temperature sensors.

Uses test equipment and performs routine calibrations.

5+ years of power plant experience

Engineering or technical degree recommended, HS diploma/GED and relevant training/experience may be considered.

Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, and the interpersonal skills necessary to supervise nonexempt personnel.

Perform maintenance on 4160-volt and 480-volt equipment, breakers and switchgear.

8+ years of experience without formal degree, in power plant maintenance, turbine generator maintenance, or power plant equipment installation/ commissioning.

5+ years of experience in instrumentation, controls, installing, calibrating, maintaining and repairing equipment or equivalent experience.
