Senior Director Of Business Intelligence Jobs

Oversee analytics and reporting products, including requirements gathering, work planning, communications, issue resolution, KPI reporting, and project management tools.

3+ years of total experience in a business intelligence, engineering, or product management role.

Solid understanding of software development life cycle models, as well as knowledge of Agile or traditional project management principles and practices.

Manage offshore developers, guiding them through requirements, answering questions, and keeping them accountable for deliverables.

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent experience preferred.

Submit and manage issues and enhancement cases with MicroStrategy for administration/environmental related issues.

Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience supporting data management, business intelligence, reporting, data analysis or other data discipline.

Oversees the management of all data products that are produced for the business through the company's BI platform.

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent additional experience in a business or technical field

Collaborate cross functionally with analytics teams, engineering teams, and groups of passionate stakeholders dedicated to improving our customer experience

9+ years of analytics experience

Advanced knowledge of data visualization and BI in Looker or Tableau

Advanced knowledge of data models, infrastructure and data architecture

Background/knowledge in Computer Science, Applied Math, Engineering, Stats, Physics, or a something comparable

5+ years of industry experience building complex, scalable ETLs for a variety of different business and product use cases

Standardize business and product metric definitions in curated and optimized datasets

Build pipelines out of our data warehouse

Advanced expertise using industry standard data management languages (SQL, Python, R, open-source technologies, etc)

8+ years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years of related experience and a master’s degree.

Prefer degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related experience.

Experience in data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and loading.

Knowledge of best practice in building data marts and data visualization.

Proven ability to manage your workload, organize and prioritize tasks, and clearly communicate status.

Knowledge of SQL with some programming experience a plus

Build sound knowledge of Colgate-Palmolive’s reporting systems and data sources

Deep knowledge of reporting tools and visualization techniques and expertise with visualization tools like Tableau, DOMO, Power BI

Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines

Adept at using data to connect the dots, and create impactful insights using reports visualizations and analytical skills

Strong communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders

Minimum ten years of business intelligence experience, with increasing management responsibility (3 years minimum), preferably in a retail/hospitality environment

Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
