Drives an automated-side load truck along designated routes to collect waste and take to post-collection facilities

Maintain route quality standards as predetermined by management.

Manage assigned Helper(s) if applicable.

Ride on the vehicle to assist the Driver while servicing customers on a designated route.

Operate packing mechanism and various levers and handles to activate the lifting and loading mechanism

Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy; report any safety issues on standard reports.

Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste.

Clean area around an accidental waste spill, ensuring adherence to all applicable safety standards and policies.

At least 1 year of previous experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL within the past 7 years

Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check and Department of Transportation Physical.

Starting Pay for No Waste Experience is $22 an Hour

At least 21 years of age or older

Valid Class A or B CDL with airbrakes endorsement

Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service calls to Route Manager or Dispatch before attempting service.

Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Route Manager.

Works closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.

Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.

Notifies Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.

Communicates customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager.

Have at least 2 years of work experience as well as a stable work history, preferably in a driver position.

Garbage Truck experience a PLUS!!!

In this position you will be operating a garbage truck on a specified route.

This is a position requiring regular heavy lifting and climbing in and out of the truck.

This position will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously serving customers.

Valid Class A or B CDL

Minimum 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Ability to safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste. Waste experience preferred, but not required.

Basic knowledge of truck components in order to complete pre- and post-trip inspections.

Previous waste experience is a huge plus!

Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.

Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.

This position pays 20 dollars an hour working 50 to 55 hours a week. everything after 40 hours is paid overtime.

Safely driving a Commercial CDL Truck into a variety of environments (Residential, Construction, Commercial, etc.).

Pre and post-trip assigned vehicles in accordance to established procedures.

Submit accurate and legible drivers vehicle inspection reports, drivers logs & trip sheets.

Wash and disinfect equipment daily.

Disinfect equipment entering and exiting ranches as needed.

Minimum 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Operate truck in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.

Replace trash/recycling receptacles neatly at the curb or designated area.

Clean up waste spills and overflows.

Maintain and update route sheets.

Be able to safely operate multiple styles of collection trucks.

Be able to lift at least 50 lbs and push/pull over 100 lbs..

Maintain and keep accurate route notes, inspection sheets and other driver records.

Follow all traffic laws, rules, and regulations as well as trucking company policies.

Safely operate a collection truck while on residential & business streets & industrials areas.

Complete other tasks as needed on route.

This is a temporary position starting at $24.00/HR. Rage of pay is $24-24.00/HR

Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading 400+ garbage cans per route.

Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.

Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

A typical schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday, with a 36-40 hour work week.
