Minimum of 3 years of Residential Service experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

1-3 years experience supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities required, 3-5 years preferred

1-3 years experience supervising various levels of staff required, 3-5 years preferred

Interpersonal and problem-solving skills* Willing to take initiative

Ensure the program provides the appropriate level of supervision for the people we support at all times.

Oversee the financial systems of both the program as well as the people we support and ensure fiscal responsibility and integrity.

Oversee the 24/7/365 operation of the residential group home, ensuring the health, safety and well-being of the people we support.

Communicate with account managers to ensure their needs are met and work orders are completed in a timely and professional manner.

Several years of relevant experience as a residential electrician.

Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and appliances in residential buildings.

Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical issues and develop effective solutions.

Manage staff hiring, termination, and progressive disciplinary actions.

At least three years of work experience as a Residential Aide and/or in a client-facing role at a social services organization.

Compensation Range: $19/hr - $21/hr commensurate with experience

Supervise staff of Residential Aides at the program site and ensure coverage by creating a regular staff schedule.

Build rapport with program clients and engage with them professionally and respectfully

When necessary, de-escalate tense, even hostile, client situations

$500.00 on six month anniversary

$500.00 on the anniversary of one year of employment.

Maintains working relationship with leadman and division manager

Maintains knowledge of and enforces company safety rules and procedures

Duties & Responsibilities may include

Assist in completion of house rough in to include measuring, cutting, and pulling wire

Install trim to include plugs, lights, fixtures, and switches

No substitution will be permitted for the required supervisory experience.

Will coordinate, implement, and supervise the administrative and clinical operations of the home, including residential program development.

Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment

Ensure the provision of appropriate individuals' services as indicated in Individual Service Plans

Utilize evidence-based practices to support clients in their recovery goals (includes symptom management, ADL support, medication education, extra-curricular activities, etc.)

Basic computer and email skills

Provision of adequate staffing for all shifts

Direct work with clients, both 1:1 and in a group setting

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Basic troubleshooting skills to help determine where issues are, repair and replace wiring and/or devices.

1-3 Years of Electrical Experience Required.

Organize material and maintain job sites (tools and materials) to provide a safe and efficient work environment.

Actively participates in tasks associated with box outs and drill outs.

Caulks and/or foams interior and exterior penetrations for fire stopping, draft stopping, and general infiltration. Also performs nail plating tasks.
