High school diploma or equivalency, prior security law enforcement experience preferred;

Previous experience working in a shelter setting with families preferred;

Possess or able to get an F-80 Certification; within six months of the hired date.

Maintains visibility to residents by wearing Safety Monitor vest and ID badge and inspects site through regular tours of the property.

Screens all clients and visitors to the facility.

Enforces and educates clients on CHI, site and DSS policies, regulations, and rules with residents.

Reviews video cameras and monitors area consistently.

Maintains appropriate documentation accurately throughout shift , i.e., turn-over, census, logs, incident reports, case notes, etc.

1 year of relevant experience in a rehabilitation or health care setting -Preferred

Assists and instructs residents with ADL's and personal care, according to each resident's care guidelines.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Driver's License in State of Michigan

Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) required within 30 Days Primary Location SITE

Minimum age requirement of 18.

2 years of experience working directly with the targeted population or providing housing services.

Excellent customer service skills and professional public presentation skills, including telephone etiquette.

Proficient in basic PC skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Good communication skills both verbal and written including the ability to communicate with all levels of management.

Willingness to work occasional overtime and offer flexibility regarding scheduling work time.

Excellent internal and external customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills.

At least three years of work experience as a Residential Aide and/or in a client-facing role at a social services organization

Compensation Range: $23/hr - $25/hr commensurate with experience

Build rapport with program clients and engage with them professionally and respectfully.

Current CNA certification in the state of Maine.

Student NA must complete certification program and be placed on the State Registry within four months.

Six months to one year’s experience preferred.

Strong written and verbal skills.

High School or GED required.

Listing on the Maine State CNA Registry without annotation.

Work with clients around ADL skills such as laundry, cleaning, and organization of room

High School Diploma or Equivalency with two years experience in counseling and/or a shelter system

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Monitor’s clients to ensure dormitory property compliance as per DHS rules and regulations,

Regularly monitors the bathrooms to reduce the instance of clients smoking in these parts,

Strip beds when a room/bed is vacated,

Manage staff hiring, termination, and progressive disciplinary actions.

At least three years of work experience as a Residential Aide and/or in a client-facing role at a social services organization.

Compensation Range: $19/hr - $21/hr commensurate with experience

Supervise staff of Residential Aides at the program site and ensure coverage by creating a regular staff schedule.

Build rapport with program clients and engage with them professionally and respectfully

When necessary, de-escalate tense, even hostile, client situations
