Quality Assurance Functional Software Tester Jobs

5 or more years of technical experience

Develops test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements

Uses technical tools (such as SQL Queries, file managers) to create and manage test data, and analyzes test results.

Five years of experience working in a complex information technology environment.

Plans, documents, evaluates and tracks testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects.

Communicates and interacts with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may affect data, workflow and/or functionality within IT software.

Maintains a test documentation library.

Experience with manual testing methods and an understanding of how automation can benefit the testing effort. Insurance Industry knowledge helpful.

Ability to collaborate with, educate, and learn from other Software Test Engineers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business stakeholders and Management.

Strong interpersonal skills with business and technical partners and external stakeholders.

Superior written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.

Software Quality Assurance Tester (Remote Work Options)

Ability to quickly learn business functions and tie them to the application/system.

2 Years Required Automation Testing experience

2 Years Preferred Test automation experience using open source technologies and/or in-house frameworks

2 Years Preferred Experience with test frameworks like Junit, TestNG

1 Years Preferred Previous experience with Zypher Scale preferred

1 Years Preferred Previous experience with Jira preferred

1 Years Preferred Previous experience with Texas Student Data System (TSDS) preferred
