Lead Warehouse Attendant Jobs

Any related certifications required, computer skills etc.

One year related experience preferred

Knowledge of CFR 110, current good manufacturing practices and AIB consolidated standards for food safety.

Reads load reservations and customer order requests (computer generated pre-sell orders) to determine stock items to be pulled for distribution

Loads or unloads items on or from trucks and other conveyors

Conveys items to and from receiving, shipping and storage areas

Assists supervisor in the management of warehouse/location operational responsibilities.

May be responsible for management and timely execution of daily receiving and shipping load boards dependent upon location

2 years related experience; or equivalent combinations of education and experience

May be required to manage organization of the warehouse based on WMS picking/put away strategies

Assists in planning layout of location/warehouse/storage area, considering turnover, size and weight of all items

Studies records and recommends remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving and excess stock

Equivalent combinations of education and experience

SAP or other WMS system experience preferred

Educational requirements – High School diploma or equivalent.

5. Operate a forklift to achieve the above job duties.

Must be able to pass forklift certification course.

Requires basic math and communication skills.

1. When trucks are loaded or unloaded, make sure that they are done in a timely manner.

2. Prioritize loads by the daily needs of production and warehouse.

Possess basic computer skills (email and Microsoft Office products)

Loads and unloads materials in warehouse and performs a variety of other warehouse tasks.

Reads work order, shipping order, or follows verbal instructions.

Drives company vehicle for local pick-up/delivery tasks.

Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.

Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, wheelbarrow, or another device.

Communicates with supervisors and or management team regarding personnel issues and day to day operations.

General knowledge of a variety of basic topics, such as math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc.

Warehouse lead or supervisor experience preferred.

Experience with Six Sigma/LEAN is preferred.

Starting wage: $24/hour - $26/hour, based on experience

Notifies Assistant Manager of nearly full trailers to ensure switches can be made

Previous warehouse operations experience preferred

10-15 hours of overtime expected each week
