Lead Instrument Technician Jobs

Knowledge and experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams

Knowledge and experience applying and interpreting results from common electrical measurement instruments (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope, etc.)

Knowledge and experience in commissioning a large-scale project preferred.

Manage projects to completion in adherence to the contracts to ensure no negative financial impacts to the company.

Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Provide insight and knowledge to local third-party construction companies on the means of proper installation of PlanET’s proprietary technology.

High School Diploma with 2+ years of relevant instrumentation experience in the petrochemical field

Experience using Microsoft Office Products and SAP

Associate's Degree in Instrumentation; OR

Honeywell TDC 2000, 3000 and Experion DCS equipment

ENRAF or similar tank gauging equipment

Micro Motion meters, turbine meters

Educational Equivalent: Must possess High School Diploma or equivalent.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid State Driver’s License.

Communication Skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to understand, give and take directions.

Due to Air Force Security requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required for employment at AEDC.

Current United States Citizenship required.

Provide on-the-job training to other craftspeople as requested by maintenance management.

Associate degree in Instrumentation or equivalent technical certification, or high school diploma/GED and relevant military experience/certifications.

Provide feedback to Planning Manager and/or Planning Technical Lead on any recommended improvements to the work order documentation process.

Maintain assigned qualifications in accordance with the INL and ATR Program qualification process.

2+ years of responsible experience in installing, modifying, repairing, and servicing electronic, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic instruments;

Actively participates in the implementation of new construction projects, including design reviews, submittal reviews, inspection, commissioning, documentation, training, and warranty.

Program, troubleshoot, and maintain programmable logic controllers and microprocessor-based equipment.

Create purchase requisition for materials, parts, tools, and equipment needed to perform work assignments; maintain operating logs; record required information.

Methods, materials, tools, and testing equipment of the instrument technician trade

Electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical theory and practices for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of process control instrumentation

Performs skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical and building systems.

Knowledge of methods, practices and techniques of maintaining building and facilities.

Organize required supplies (setup, connect, test, operate drills, saws, etc.) or instruments according to the specific surgical procedure being performed.

Properly prepare instruments ensuring equipment is working properly throughout surgical procedures.

Advise medical personnel on the proper use of equipment or on problems that arise in connection with equipment use.

Clean or terminate operating room after surgical procedures, preparing the operating room for the next surgical case.

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Must be able to successfully complete on the job training including certification and company sponsored education modules.

Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills.

Decontaminate soiled instrumentation, cameras, scopes and other materials/instrumentation as needed.

Prep and pack decontaminated items for sterilization.

Managing the maintenance, care, cleaning and repair of our instrument/scope sets in a hands-on environment.

Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Complete and maintain clearance, certifications, training, required reading and qualifications.

Guide and mentor other technical staff and junior crafts. Share problem solving skills and methods with all coworkers and crafts.

1-2 years of proven experience.
