The successful candidate may be required to attend multiple training courses normally located in Anchorage.

Superior critical thinking and time management skills

Education & Experience Equivalency: No substitution of experience for education is permitted. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience requirements

Strong self-starter and organizational skills

Solid interpersonal and communication skills

Licensure & Certification: Requires a valid Driver’s License at the time of application

Represents the department in accordance with Volume 7 and city rules and regulations

Demonstrated project management experience, including client relationship management, team management or supervision, and budget management, preferably in a contract consulting environment.

Knowledge of change management and implementation processes

Exceptional project management skills, with a focus on Technical Assistance project management, including the management of project teams

Contribute to regular project reporting, budget management, and evaluation efforts

Identify lessons learned to contribute to body of knowledge for Center service delivery and partnership

Maintain expert knowledge about each assigned state’s strengths, needs, systemic issues and pressures, and other critical information.

Case management methods and techniques

Combination of relevant education and relevant experience accepted?

Manage records and documentation of services provided and maintain history records

OR bachelor’s degree in related major AND two years of social work experience

OR master’s degree in related major AND two years of social work experience.

Intermediate knowledge of social services procedures, practices, and methods

Or a combination of education and experience.

One year of clerical office experience/combination of education and experience, PLUS two years of clerical experience in a Child Welfare field.

Provides lower-level case management assistance and support for Child Welfare Specialists (CWS), clients, and client families.

Level I H16A - $29,600.55 + Full State Benefits

Level II H16B - $31,819.20 + Full State Benefits

Level III H16C - $34,999.65 + Full State Benefits

Knowledge of case planning, case management, writing skills.

Provide individual case management, advanced specialized treatment planning and intervention.

Manage cases of tribal members, collaborate with tribal prosecutor's office, and attend court hearings.

Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Experience providing testimony in courts

Two years' experience in social work-related field
