Have interpersonal skills to interact with students, management, and peers.

Preferred work experience in education, training, customer service, sales, hospitality, retail, or people service-related industries.

Have the willingness to become proficient in navigating customer relationship management systems and multiple software systems while communicating with students.

Facilitate student enrollment and guide potential students through their educational selection process.

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional telephone manners.

Documents all student activity and progress throughout the enrollment process in various technology systems.

Experience working in higher education (e.g. Admissions, Financial Aid, Administrative, etc.)

Experience in speaking with 6th-12th grade parents

Experience working as an elementary, middle school, or high school educator (teacher, counselor, administrator, etc.)

Proven experience supporting families and schools with complex enrollment requirements and/or 2+ years of demonstrated phone remote, phone-based admissions experience

Senior-level relationship management supports partner schools for enrollment and academic placement, including collaboration on enrollment strategy

Demonstrated consultative sales experience and high-volume call metrics required

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, Sales, or a related field preferred

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Prior customer service experience preferred

Provide essential information related to admissions requirements and enrollment processes to prospective students.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Build rapport and provide guidance for students interested in obtaining a degree.

Receive and follow-up on potential students via videoconference, phone, email, fax, and direct mail student inquiries relating to obtaining advanced degrees.

Qualify and advise students for various academic programs.

Keeps abreast of state-of-the-art developments through attendance at professional meetings and seminars, literature; etc.

Minimum 3 - 5 years financial services/retirement experience

Possess a comprehensive knowledge of mutual funds/separate accounts, with an understanding of the risk/reward trade off for all securities

Have experience with a consultative needs based approach helping people plan for retirement

Developing strategic relationships with site contacts within their assigned territory

Working closely with internal business partners delivering increased client value

Be well versed in Deferred Compensation and Defined Contribution Plans as well as retirement planning concepts
