Food Safety Area Manager Jobs

Strong management skills, handling complexity & judgement, good business acumen coupled with extensive technical knowledge and skills

Demonstrated organizational, project management and people development skills.

Minimum 10 years in food safety with at least 5 years of management experience.

Food Safety and Microbiology program management

Diverse technical experience that enables skills to interact/bridge food safety with other departments and business units

What will be your key responsibilities?

Basic understanding of regulatory and food law, including AAFCO Guidelines

Advanced degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Engineering or related technical field

Working knowledge of auditing software system, checklists and corrective action management systems

Leadership, supervising and project management

Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Perform all audits and technical duties to meet the CB, customer and certification schemes expectations and key performance indicators as defined.

Working knowledge of customer audit programs. (Costco, McDonalds, etc)

Working knowledge of relevant regulatory standards from agencies such as FDA, USDA, CFIA, etc.
