Possess computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and knowledge of streaming services or other technology to support programs).

Knowledgeable and proficient with current technology (streaming services, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, etc.)

Experience in planning and providing health and wellness activities for older adults preferred.

Meet with residents and program members to determine past and current interests and hobbies.

Coordinate special events for residents and members.

Ensure physical set up of all activities/programs, call to remind residents to attend, facilitate/attend programs and clean up afterwards.

Assists the Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, organize, develop, implement and direct the activity program for residents in the facility.

Participates actively in facility teams, committees and task forces.

Assists in modifying activities to suit individual capabilities

Two years experience in activities or related field, preferred

Assist in planning and implementation of group activities

Provides crafts, music, and reading services in both an individual and small group setting

Organize equipment and set up activities

Provides evening and weekend entertainment for residents

Ability to perform basic mathematical skills.

Provides quality Customer Service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfaction.

Assists with the coordination of resident and outside community member volunteers needed for Life Enrichment programming.

Works closely with all departments associated with activity programs.

Assists with the timely placement of appropriate seasonal décor.

Assists in the active collaboration with outside community organizations.

Experience in budget development and management.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Experience in program development and implementation, preferably with a focus on services for individuals with disabilities.

Complete and maintain certification in Personal Outcome Measures (POM) through the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL).

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.

Knowledge of 245D programs is strongly preferred.

Creative activities such as arts, crafts, music, drama and educational programs

2 years minimum of experience in a social or recreational program

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
