Activities / Life Enrichment Assistant

University Village seeks a dynamic and engaging Activities Director / Life Enrichment Assistant for our Assisted Living residents. The Life Enrichment Assistant provides support to the Life Enrichment Coordinator in planning, development, organization, and execution of ongoing activities designed to meet the resident’s social, physical, and psychological needs. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Life Enrichment Coordinator.

$13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday

• Routine and intermittent visits to residents in their apartments
• Assists in modifying activities to suit individual capabilities
• Safeguard and account for residents when out on field trips
• Provides crafts, music, and reading services in both an individual and small group setting
• Meeting with new residents upon their arrival to our community
• Organize equipment and set up activities
• Assist in planning and implementation of group activities
• Cultivates a dependable, personal relationship in order to assess any social needs
• Provides evening and weekend entertainment for residents

Requirements

• Two years experience in activities or related field, preferred
