Demand And Production Planner Jobs

Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering) or 8+ years of Manufacturing Planning Experience

Experience with JD Edwards E1 preferred.

Licenses or certifications preferred: APICS, CPIM, or other manufacturing planning/materials related certifications

7+ years applicable supply chain experience (Demand Planning/Supply Planning/Inventory Management/S&OP) preferably in a consumer goods industry

BA/BS degree in supply chain management, business or other related field

Knowledge of S&OP principles and practices

Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills

Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy

Prior SAP ERP experience in an MRP planning environment

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, the following.

Reworking and prioritizing schedules for work centers that are over capacity to ensure that the production schedule aligns with OTD goals.

Reports to Production & Planning Manager.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, EFI Monarch software or knowledge of ERP software.

Strong Customer Service and communication skills.

Thorough knowledge of printing process

Good knowledge of color, design, job planning and scheduling.

Experienced Prepress, Imposition, Bindery/Finish background encouraged to apply.

Communicates effectively with teammates and management while displaying a positive, team-based attitude.

Proficient in MS word, Excel and PowerPoint; and general computer skills and knowledge

Proven written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with managers, directors, employees and customers to maintain a viable working relationship.

Experience with implementing process improvements, conducting root cause analysis,

Proven experience in demand planning, production planning, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and production scheduling.

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
