3 years’ experience in the trades of assisting and maintaining buildings, rental apartments and single family homes.

Working knowledge in being able to handle multiple types of repairs and maintenance.

Ability to manage time and workload effectively.

Must live within 30 minutes of Vanderheyden’s main campus

Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.

Serve as station's Collateral Duty Safety Officer.

This position is not eligible for benefits.

Removes litter, debris, and deceased animals from roadways, convenience centers, and other city property.

Responds to emergency calls during inclement weather or other emergency situations.

Utilizes precautionary safety equipment and monitors work environment to ensure safety of employees and other individuals.
