Category Space Analyst Jobs

Project Management experience and strong communication skills with cross functions

2+ years’ experience in category management is a plus

Effectively communicate, manage, and prioritize workload across multiple customers

Lead reset processes including drawing planograms utilizing JDA

Creating planograms 80% and analytics 20%.

Build strong relationship with retailers as a trusted Category advisor across all areas of the Beer business and Alcohol department

Support the development and execution of category strategies in close alignment with the Category Management Team.

In collaboration with the Business Units, support strategic sourcing initiatives led by the Category Management team.

Minimum undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Marketing, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or similar discipline required.

Communication and negotiation skills with the capability to meet targets, manage concessions and deliver results.

On-board new Suppliers in close collaboration with the Category Manager and coordinate supplier evaluations.

Collaborate with the Category Manager to develop and maintain ongoing sourcing strategies & minimize supply and labor risks.

Demonstrate skills for positive conflict management

Partner closely with all internal parties to understand the latest insights and provide recommendations on category management strategic opportunities.

In-depth understanding of Category Management analytics, tools & process

Manage 3rd party data provider (Spins/IRI) ensuring data integrity

Directly accountable for special projects assigned by the manager as they correlate to career development.

Strong analytical skills that translate to actionable insights to further grow and develop the packaged salad category

Provide Category Management Insight to top customers by leading the dialogue with a focus on category growth opportunities.

Develop customer Category Management business plans that integrate with Red Bull goals.

Establish a partnership with Sales Leaders and Retail Partners in the development of strategic plans for category management.

Use a variety of category management tools on special projects with an eye to increasing productivity.

Duties, Responsibilities and Expected Contributions

Experience in data analytics and generating insights.

IRI/Nielsen experience is a plus.

Provide category analyses and consumer insights using a range of syndicated and non-syndicated data sources.

Access relevant information, interpret results and draw conclusions to support the business case for each project.

Ability to create clear, impactful PowerPoint presentations with actionable insights and deliverables.

Drive improvements, efficiencies, and expertise in JDA application usage, functionality, database management and reporting.

Optimize the use of JDA Space Planning, Category Knowledgebase, Open Access and Web Publisher applications and related processes.

Advanced skills in Blue Yonder/JDA’s Space Planning and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookup, formulas).

Intermediate/advanced skills in JDA Floor Planning, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Strong analytical skills, be highly detail oriented, and have excellent communication and collaboration skills (group, written and oral).

Create store specific data driven Planograms for the ExtraMile Convenience Store franchise network.
