Monitor and adhere to patient/resident treatment plans in the delivery of care.

Observe patients to detect behavior patterns, condition changes, and incidents and report observations to the multidisciplinary patient care team.

Document patient care information and ensures timely and accurate completion of patient care records in accordance with policies and procedures.

Observe, record, and monitor behaviors related to risk of patient suicide.

Assist patients with their daily routines, implement individual program plans, and document client progress.

1 year Social Services Preferred

Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills

This is a contract – fee for service PT or FT opportunity.

$17.00 per billable service hours

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: High School diploma preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology preferred.

Experience: 1+ years of experience and/or coursework in a social services related field required.

Demonstrates a proficiency in all aspects at the entry level position.

Must be able to annually demonstrate competency in seclusion and restraint training.

Substitution of Education for Experience:

Successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment provided by the Education Testing Service (ETS) with a score of 459 or higher.

Excess Technical experience may be substituted for General and Specialized experience on a year-for-year basis.

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:

BEHAVIORAL TECHNICIAN I $3,552.00 per month (SR-14) BEHAVIORAL TECHNICIAN II $3,846.00 per month (SR-16)

Certification as an AALAS LAT with 4 years of experience in laboratory animal care OR

Must have basic computer skills

Bachelor's Degree with a background in behavioral sciences with 2 years of experience in laboratory animal care OR

6 years of experience in laboratory animal care

Organizes and performs technical duties, such as preparation, maintenance and distribution of enrichment materials, devices and equipment.

Identifies animals that are in need to specialized intervention for observed behavioral problems and implements intervention practices to improve behavior.

Experience working with at-risk children.

Pediatric experience in hospital and/or clinic setting.

Registered Behavioral Technician RBT certification.

Provide the highest quality 1-on-1 therapy to children with autism.

Collect accurate and reliable data on patients’ progress toward treatment goals.

Interact with patients’ caregivers in a kind and supportive manner.

Previous experience working in an educational or healthcare setting preferred

Current in-person CPR/ First Aid certification for Adult & Children (or willing to get)

Implements the goals/objectives for an individual child as defined in the treatment plan

Relays information regarding the child and his/her program to the BCBA and/or Executive Clinical Supervisor

Provides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention

Performs other duties as assigned/necessary

Full Time / Part Time:

Position is for a 40 hour overnight 11p-7:30am. Every other weekend and holiday required.
