Behavior Analyst Hourly Jobs

Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in a mental health field and two (2) years’ experience in the field of behavior analysis.

Provide assessment and treatment to enrolled children and youth based on principles of applied behavior analysis.

Identify specific objectives and performance goals of enrolled youth.

Prepare behavior intervention plans according to Behavior Analytic best practices standards and makes necessary revisions/updates to the plans

Create behavior measurement systems for monitoring progress of enrolled youth and to guide decisions on plan updates

Technical Skillset Requirements: Solid understanding of MS Excel (familiarity with pivot tables and vlookups are a bonus).

Keen eye for detail, spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills along with creative abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing skill acquisition plans for individuals with developmental disabilities

Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skills, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations

Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing Behavioral Intervention Plans for individuals with challenging behavior

Complete assessments, including the VB-MAPP, AFLS, SKILLS, and FBAs

Continually analyze skill acquisition and behavior reduction data

Actively participate in opportunities for staff training and education (available to and encouraged for independent contractors; required for employees)

Salary Range: $47,476.00 - $63,000.00

Education: Master’s degree and 2+ years of post-certification behavior analytic experience required.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

License/Certifications: Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst required.

Experience: Experience working with individuals with developmental disorders including children with autism and intellectual disability.

Must display strong interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills, professionalism, and maturity

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Attends professional development on training behavior management, Competent Learner Model, progress monitoring, data collection techniques, social skills, etc.

Collaborate with team in creating data sheets using an online company based management information system and other needed materials.

Master’s degree preferably in Psychology, Education or Applied Behavior Analysis.

Certification and ongoing CEU’s from the BACB to conduct supervision for RBTs, BCaBA and/or Behavior Analysts In Training.

Two or more years experience working with developmentally disabled or emotionally disturbed children and/or adults. (preferred)

Design, implement and monitor behavior intervention plans that include staff actions, IEPs, reports, BIPs, ECMPs, crisis intervention plans, etc.

Train staff in skill generalizations procedures to increase inclusion of students in general education environments.

Knowledge and experience in planning and leading effective adult learning.

Minimum of three years experience working in education.

Salary Placement varies according to experience and education.

Give ongoing modeling, feedback, and coaching to program staff related to both student behavior reduction and skill acquisition.

Support teams with development of materials for behavior support, verbal behavior and skill training.
