Prepares athletes for practice or competition.

Implements treatment and rehabilitation programs under the supervision of a physician.

Develops conditioning programs for injured and non-injured athletes.

Athletic Trainer - Collegiate Football

St. Joseph Sports Medicine Department

Pay Range: $51500.80 - $77251.20 / year

Bachelor's degree from CAAHEP accredited athletic training education program

2 years experience in Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy, and/or Athletic Training

NATA-BOC certification and ability to obtain Indiana Athletic Training License,

Master’s Degree from CAAHEP accredited athletic training education program

Formulates, coordinates, and updates patient care plans from pre-operative to post-operative and follow-up care throughout the patient’s management within orthopedic surgery.

Reviews post-operative discharge instructions with patients including regarding wound care and pain management.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience

Performs patient education duties; shows surgical videos, hands out brochures, and directs patients to specific Internet sites for more information.

Entry level graduates with NATA certification will be considered
