Athletic Trainer Jobs

Job Summary

Purdue University and its department of sports medicine within the Intercollegiate Athletics office, is looking for an individual to become an Athletic Trainer for both Cross-Country and Track & Field. As an Athletic Trainer for Purdue University, you will be a member of the Purdue Sports Medicine Department working under the direct supervision of the Senior Associate Athletic Director, Performance and Sports Medicine, and team physicians to deliver athletic health care for ‎intercollegiate athletes and athletic teams.

Additional duties will include but are not limited to:

• Provide appropriate documentation of care
• Provide immediate Rx rehabilitation for patients
• Provide service care given to emergency needs of student-athletes
• Provide supervision of returning student-athlete to athletic activity

Required:

• Indiana Physical Therapy License if the employee has Physical Therapy Degree
• Bachelor's degree from CAAHEP accredited athletic training education program
• 2 years experience in Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy, and/or Athletic Training
• NATA-BOC certification and ability to obtain Indiana Athletic Training License,
• Must adhere to and comply with Purdue University, Big Ten Conference, and the NCAA applicable rules policies, procedures, rules, and regulations‎

Preferred:

• Master’s Degree from CAAHEP accredited athletic training education program
