Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.

Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer requirements.

Combination of education and experience

8-10 years of experience in a related technical/professional discipline (substitution of additional years’ experience for degree may be considered)

Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Ensure engineering activities (analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring) best meets (as resources allow) established requirements

Knowledge in corrosion basics, corrosion mitigation, and corrosion preventative compounds

Knowledge of federal, state, and/or local environmental regulations as well as Army and DoD regulations and guidance

Knowledge of coatings systems used in both commercial and military aviation

Min 1 to 3 years in a manufacturing role. Recent Engineering graduates with applicable internship experience will be credited towards experience.

Previous experience working within Aerospace sector.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering accredited institution.

Eaton’s AER ITD division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Aerospace.

Exchanging ideas, information, or offer technical advice concerning welding matters.

Demonstrated experience with aerospace fusion and friction plug welding, friction stir welding and manufacturing of flight hardware.

Demonstrated experience working with welding equipment and tooling vendors.

Experience manufacturing SLS hardware and experience working with NASA Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) manufacturing is highly desired.

Preparing technical reports as result of research and development.

Evaluating new developments in welding field for possible application to current welding problems or production processes.

Demonstrated increase in experience and abilities.

Experience in Engineering design software

Receive assignments from Senior Engineer and work to completion providing status updates as needed

Work with design software to plan the chemical and fuels systems for a Test Facility

Work with systems personnel to ensure all designs are compliant with the propellants to be used.

Write and review work assignments that Technician crews need to perform.

Experience with MATLAB programming/scripting and Simulink is essential

Experience with dSpace systems in high performance test/development environment

Experience with computer system hardware configurations used for high-speed/real-time applications

Experience with aircraft propulsion system principles and concepts

Experience with Hybrid-electric and Electric air vehicle principles and concepts.

3 - 5 years of professional experience desired, however consideration will be given to qualified candidates with relevant experience

Other duties as assigned by management to ensure optimal plant performance

Support Equipment Planner in defining process-specific input (acceptance criteria, quality requirement, etc.) for Requirement Manuals for new production equipment

Define and manage various plant level improvment projects related to the area of responsibility

Optimization of productivity and quality for production processes in the Duncan, SC plant

Implementation of new processes as part of the industrialization process

Increase efficiency and reduce cycle times of production process within area of responsibility by optimizing process parameters or equipment

Knowledge in systems engineering application and process, including requirements development, test cases and validation

Develop and track requirements, validation plans, and test data to ensure the design meets customer objectives

Utilize simulation tools to model complex systems to guide the requirements definition and design activities

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Excellent problem solving and organization skills

Planning, coordinating, and management of projects and test processes to ensure the high level of test quality

Management of other team members in daily operations including technical guidance and in customer service

Provide regular updates to management on project progress

Internship or other experience in the aerospace or testing field

Execute high frequency shock, vibration, and other mechanical tests in support of various aerospace and defense clients

Semi-frequent travel to customer sites for training in support of engineering equipment sales
