Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

You will coordinate large cross-functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives.

You will perform exposure identification and problem-solving to ensure prompt resolution.

How You'll Spend Your Time

Excellent skills in news writing and reporting, combining strong news judgment, fluency in style

Comfortable and skilled at engaging with readers on digital platforms including newsletters

A creative storyteller eager to experiment with various platforms

Ability to tackle a mix of enterprise and longer-term stories, along with breaking and daily news in a deadline-driven environment

Able to contribute to a newsletter with a personal voice and beat-based articles and information

Fluency in Spanish a plus though not required

Computer skills for multimedia and surveys, including creative products, web content management, video social media, and survey software.

7 cultural resource centers that offer education, celebration and belonging for everyone

Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, with specific examples of experience

Evidence of project management, including meeting deadlines.

Evidence of projects requiring organized information management.

Working knowledge or experience with Oregon’s coastal, watershed, and marine issues, stakeholders, and ecosystems

Other desirable skills: initiative, strong conceptual abilities, sound judgment, resilience, and an interest in development work.

Include, where possible, survivor support organisations and/or survivor experts with lived experiences.

Exchange knowledge and collaborate with the FAST team

Develop and support appropriate knowledge exchange activities, communications and resources relating to AML

Knowledge of modern slavery, human trafficking, child labour and forced labour;

Experience in drafting reports, communications, and presentations;

Manage and plan for the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) meetings and activities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Coordinate special events and logistics, including event promotion.

Operates a passenger vehicle as necessary.
