2-3 years’ experience with youth counseling, case management, or coaching strongly preferred

Strong interpersonal and people management skills required

Develop and enhance in school curricula and offerings for youth programming and leadership development and modify on an ongoing basis

Create surveys to measure knowledge and social emotion gains made through IRC programs

Recruit skilled volunteers, community members, and professional speakers to support youth programs as mentors and presenters

Complete administrative responsibilities including tracking time and effort, annual development of professional goals, and the 90 day onboarding plan

Monitors grantees to ensure compliance with the Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration's Policy 22 requirements.

Substitution of Education for Experience:

Applicants for this class must be willing to travel locally, regionally and statewide to meet specific job requirements.

Trains grant recipients on new programs, policies, grant requirements, and other children's issues.

Personal Computer Including Skill with Microsoft Office Suite

Coordinates regional and local efforts between public and private service providers to enhance services for children and youth.
