Perform audits or other QA functions on the production floor as needed or directed. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. Education & Experience

Two years College or Associate Degree in food microbiology or similar field preferred or combination of education and/or work experience.

Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to Production/QA Management.

Maintains a working knowledge of company, government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.

Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with HACCP standards and company policies and procedures.

Records test data such as weights, temperatures, moisture content, qualities and quantities inspected or graded.

Applies proper acceptance/rejection criteria and marks items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.

Audits production facility and reviews employee behavior for proper sanitation.

Should possess strong interpersonal skills, solid communication skills; both written and oral.

Computer skills: - MS Word, MS Excel

Solid working experience with oscilloscopes, meters, and other instruments to capture data.

Perform water/air sampling including accompanying data entry. Obtain monthly water reports from the City, review and sign.

Minimum (2) two years inspection/production experience in a food manufacturing environment.

High degree of computer literacy (Microsoft Office and SAP) with excellent written and oral communication skills.
