Frequently carry up to 10 to 34 pounds and a little less frequently 35-50 pounds.

The hourly rate for this position is $17.66 per hour.

Reworks and maintains knowledge of QC requirements and procedures to ensure proper disposition of nonconforming parts

0– 3 years of manufacturing experience and/or small part assembly

Fine motor dexterity skills required to maintain quality and productivity

Written and verbal communication skills

Learn and perform production related tasks surrounding poultry processing such as debone or evisceration

Perform additional relevant duties as assigned

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs

Wear required protective equipment in all areas where mandatory

Ability to work non-standard shifts (weekends, holidays and extended shifts) as needed

Follow written procedures (ODS), monitor quality and communicate production and quality issues to the Team Leader or Supervisor.

Ensure health, safety and 5S policies and standards are followed. Report any unsafe conditions to Supervisor immediately.

Inspect components and parts and report any quality issues to Team Leader or Supervisor.

Move or transfer components and parts to work stations from racks, boxes, carousals, etc.

Assembly equipment – loading, unloading and properly using Poke Yoke equipment.

Apply labels correctly to components and packaged parts.

Experience in production / manufacturing environment a plus

Physically capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 65 pounds

Physically able to bend, reach, stoop, push and pull as required in a production operation

Able to climb ladders, crawl under equipment and work in tight spaces.

Physically capable of standing for long periods of time

Physically capable of normal range of motion in all extremities
