Multi Facility Registered Dietician Jobs

Minimum 4 years' experience in diabetes with insulin pump and CGM education.

Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a registered dietician (clinic setting preferred)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Experience using an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system

Certification as a Diabetes Educator (CDCES) required

Ability to work and integrate with other patient care professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team

Assists with planning, implementing, and evaluating the diabetes self-management, education, and nutritional program.

Assists with the development, co-coordination, and maintenance of MedLink Georgia's Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support Program.

Projects assigned appropriately based on professional skill areas, experience, and interest.

Provides nutritional therapy, education, and support to patients with diabetes, prediabetes, and related conditions, both one-on-one and in groups.

Provides preventive nutritional therapy and education to adults and children who are overweight or obese, both one-to-one and in groups.

Provides continuing education for the program staff.

Assists with planning, implementing, and evaluating the diabetes self-management, education, and nutritional program.

The Dietitian will have the qualifications, competency and skills to carry out the functions of the food and nutrition services.

The qualifications of the Dietitian will include:

Licensure or certification as a registered dietitian or nutrition professional.

The Dietitian may oversee and delegate some of the above responsibilities to the director of food and nutrition services.

A qualified Dietitian or other clinically qualified nutrition professional will help oversee food and nutrition services provided to the residents.
