Medical Office Assistant Lead Jobs

Frequent reaching, gripping, and keyboard use/data entry.

Presents medication to patient and observes ingestion or administers medication using specified procedures.

Takes vital signs or observes patient to detect response to medication, and reports reactions.

May provide direct patient care. Ensures resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.

Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Verifies insurance benefits and obtains proper authorization and certification for appointments and procedures.

Medical office and computer experience preferred.

Assists the Manager with staff assignments for the MOA staff and makes workflow decisions to ensure efficient front office operation.

Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all computer fields (i.e., demographics, insurance screen, etc.), and insurance companies.

High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam Required

BLS within 90 days of hire required
