Overview:

Intensive Care Nurses (ICN) are highly skilled nurses who provide specialized care to critically ill patients in intensive care units (ICUs). They are responsible for monitoring and assessing the patient’s condition, providing treatments and medications, and communicating with the patient’s family and other healthcare professionals.

Intensive Care Nurses are responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill patients in ICUs. They must be able to assess the patient’s condition and provide treatments and medications as needed. They must also be able to communicate effectively with the patient’s family and other healthcare professionals. ICNs must be able to recognize changes in the patient’s condition and respond quickly and appropriately. They must also be able to provide emotional support to the patient and their family.

• Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN)
• Experience in an ICU setting
