Frozen Warehouse Selector Jobs

Completion of forklift and ride on jack certification; in-house training provided

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to work from information provided on an electronic tablet, load sheets and other instructions

Builds pallets for next day delivery using a ride on pallet jack

Clean up nightly at end of shift

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Communicates with management concerning new products, and forecasts for new and existing products.

Communicate with management current market information.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Procure all items within the Frozen and Groceries category of Food Service products.

Negotiate agreements with suppliers to attain acceptable quality, best price, and timely deliveries for the Company.

Understands and follows the corporation's policies and guidelines regarding the ethical conduct of purchasing activities.

Effective communication and coordination exist with Company personnel and with management. Assistance and support are provided as needed.

Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred

Safely and accurately select customer orders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy

Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet

Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment

Communicates with the management team regarding any issues (e.g. products, out of stocks, safety issues, food safety concerns).

Reports all equipment issues to a member of the management team.

Other duties as assigned by management.

6 months of previous warehouse experience preferred; or equivalent work experience in place of a degree.

Forklift and pallet jack license/certification.

Knowledge of: safe lifting procedures, and food safety guidelines.

Pay rate: $20.00 per hour. Increases to $22.75/full production.

Responsible for hand stacking product onto pallets using wireless headset and electric pallet jack

Must have prior experience working in a warehouse; preferably in a distribution environment;

Experience working in a refrigerated/freezer environment is STRONGLY preferred

Experience driving forklifts is a plus

Packers (Packing inventory for shipment)

At least 18 years old and must possess a HS diploma or equivalent

Provide proof of right to work in the US
