Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Allied Healthcare field, business administration, education, advocacy or related field; or equivalent work experience

Respond to organ and tissue referrals at assigned hospitals and throughout Gift of Hope’s Donation Service Area

Technical Skills-Strive to continuously build knowledge and skills. Take necessary training to obtain certifications for use of job-related equipment/tools as required.

Transfer donated items to the appropriate tote, cart, or basket according to GILSCC requirements, separating donations by type, not quality.

Offer helpful, innovative suggestions to help improve processes within this or other departments.

Must have knowledge of safe lifting techniques

Initiative - Asks for and offers help when needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF WORK REQUIREMENTS

2 years related acute care nursing experience. Must demonstrate proficiency through competency testing in all nursing areas eligible for floating.

RN with active license in State of Michigan. Specialty Certification highly recommended after 2 years in specialty.

Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification and other certifications as required by department.

4. Adheres to HIPAA requirements and maintains confidentiality of all data, including patient/resident, employee and operations information.

Create and Implement a strategic plan for the acquisition of Public, Community, and Business support.

Develops territories to achieve the maximum donor per household activity.

Coordinates with Retail Operations Team, schedules for pickups and deliveries of donations.

Maintains and Grows Existing Donation Base, achieving quarterly and annual donor goals.

Maintains communication with other departments on Donor Development Activities.

Creates Marketing Material to Target Donation Development

Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Maintains close communication with the Principal Investigators and other study staff regarding recruitment, study progress, and data management.

Works closely with the Principal Investigator and other research staff to maintain efficient tracking systems and data management instruments.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp

Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience

Excellent interpersonal skills permitting effective recruitment and interaction with young adult research participants, research and administrative staff.

Desired Skills and Experience *

- Schedule network planned maintenances and create in the system to be utilized by Change Management

- Strong written and verbal communication

- Must be willing/able to work any shift (day, evenings, night, weekends)

- Field customer calls on Network Maintenance inquires for both internal and external

○ Positive impact during difficult outages

Effective time management skills to ensure assignments are completed and properly documented 

Provide customers with guidance and assistance during provisioning and set-up to ensure a strong onboarding experience.  

3 years related experience in positions involving customer service/support or customer-facing technical support

Excellent verbal and written communication skills focused on administrative and customer service
