Attends continuing education seminars to maintain current competency in cardiovascular care and concepts.
Minimum of two years Cardiovascular/Pulmonary Rehab experience or critical care experience
Assumes the responsibility and authority for the ongoing operation of the Cardiac Rehab program and the diagnostic services.
Confers with the Medical Director, no less than annually to review/revise program protocols, standing orders, care standards, policies and procedures.
Assists in the budgetary process by completing the departmental budget for operating, payroll and capital equipment expenses.
Communicates regularly with the patient's primary physician and/or the program's Medical Director regarding progress, problems and Individual Treatment Plan of Care.
